Realize that you can only do it once in 90 days. You can add a username, but you should be careful as Facebook allows you to change it within 90 days only, to avoid possible scams.
Choose carefully. Make sure that whatever you change to is something you want to live with. If you make the wrong choice at this time, you will have to create from scratch a brand new profile losing many of your Facebook friends.
Steps to Change Your Facebook Account Name:
FB LOGIN > SETTINGS
The first thing to do is to log into your Facebook account. Then you should click on the "Settings" tab that is found, in the upper right hand corner.
GENERAL > NAME
Changing your name will be the first option that is available. You can just hit on the “Change” tab that is found, on the right side. You can then simply type your new, desired name and press enter. You can even choose the way your full name will be displayed, on your profile by clicking on the “Display Full Name” option that is found on top of the options list.
EDIT YOUR NAME:
SELECT YOUR DISPLAY OPTION
SAVE THE CHANGES YOU MADE
At last,enter the password to save the changes in name.
